A veteran entrepreneur and innovator, Lash has more than 15 years of experience developing and licensing technology products, and marketing technology to enterprise and consumer markets.

Lash has devoted the last year towards developing market awareness and distribution partners for online advocacy and fundraising software that aid grassroots nonprofit organizations to lobby congress over health, education, tax, labor, and environmental issues, and raise money online. As Vice President, Marketing and Alliances for GetActive Software, Lash developed strategic relationships with Association Management Software companies, Public Affairs, membership and fundraising firms, National Public Radio (NPR) and it’s affiliate broadcast network, and top publications servicing the nonprofit community.

Lash launched the first Internet based interactive TV commerce application on broadcast TV. Lash developed the initial product strategy and business relationships with partners such as Domino’s Pizza and Bloomberg Television – showcasing the now-ubiquitous examples of ordering pizza from iTV and an interactive stock quote ticker, and established alliances with Interactive TV technology firms such as Microsoft, Liberate Technologies, and OpenTV. RespondTV aired hundreds of interactive programs and commercials, for PBS, Ford Motor Company, Coca Cola, Tide, etc., and was the preferred provider to AT&T Broadband. Lash holds a patent, and another three pending for his early work in interactive television.

From 1996-1997, Lash served as Vice President of Product Marketing at goodcompany.com, where he and colleagues designed and developed a subscription based community Internet service with technical innovations such as a neural network profile matching system and the first private instant messaging system.

Lash was also the first to launch web banner advertising among other numerous Internet marketing services including paid directories, ecommerce and content publishing platforms. From 1993-1995, Lash served as Director of Product Marketing of America Online’s Internet Services Division. At AOL, Lash was responsible for software product design and rollout of the fourth largest national ISP (GNN) and ecommerce platform. Lash arrived at AOL by way of acquisition of O’Reilly’s Global Network Navigator (GNN).

1988-1993, Lash developed pioneering Workflow, Business Process Management, Electronic Messaging client/server applications for Action Technologies and application developer QDM Systems.

Lash has previously served on the Board of Directors for the Advanced Television Enhancement Forum (ATVEF), a television industry technical standards group, and RespondTV.

Lash received his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Michigan.
